In her role as Partner at Hoffman Painting & Finishing, Christene Marie provides strategic direction, marketing and brand guidance, and growth strategy to guide the company into new markets. Christene pulls from her experience and expertise as Founder and CEO of Starin Strategies, a woman-owned small business serving as the brand identity and integrated marketing partner for organizations that make a significant impact for good in their respective communities. Starin Strategies transforms these organizations into strong, differentiated brands that shine by telling compelling stories surrounding their impact, bringing clarity to the meaningful initiatives, and crafting strategic, holistic marketing campaigns that resonate with the target audience to drive bottom-line goals.

Throughout her career, Christene has focused on advocating for those who do not have a voice. Her ambition to curate a meaningful impact both individually and through her organization has included providing public relations for recovery programs surrounding substance use, managing campaigns seeking justice for survivors of sexual abuse, leading training for USAID’s Farmer to Farmer program in Honduras, coordinating fundraising events on behalf of human trafficking advocacy, guiding strategic marketing initiatives for organizations that powered the distribution of food to millions during the COVID-19 pandemic, and leading a new initiative to raise awareness to the mental health crisis among youth nationwide

Christene now serves on the Board of Dandelion Meadow, a nonprofit committed to bringing restoration to women survivors of substance abuse and human trafficking through a multi-year, holistic residential recovery program. In addition, Christene is the Event Chair of the Carson Scholars Fund Associate Leadership Council.
